On December 22, the establishment meeting of the Anhui Provincial High-tech branch of the Democratic League was held in Hefei. Zheng Yongfei, Vice Chairman of the Provincial CPPCC, Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Hou Yuhong, deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial CPPCC and full-time deputy chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Democratic League attended the meeting. At the meeting, Mei Haiyan, Minister of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee of the Democratic League, introduced the basic situation of the proposed candidates for the first committee of the Provincial Direct high-tech branch of the Democratic League. He Qian, the second-level director of the Organization Department of the Democratic League Provincial Committee, read out the decision of the Democratic League Provincial Committee on the establishment of the Anhui Provincial Direct high-tech Branch.

The meeting elected the first branch committee of the provincial High and New High-tech of the Democratic League. Shao Changlin was elected as the Chairman, Chen Huai and Wu Xuanquan as the deputy chairmen, Zheng Ju as the Committee member, and Shao Min as the Committee member of political participation and discussion and social services.

Shao Changlin, chairman of the branch, made a statement, and he said that under the strong leadership of the provincial Party Committee of the Democratic League, the party will unite and lead the members of the branch, give play to the advantages of the provincial high-tech branch in science and technology, innovation, location and other aspects, actively carry out activities, do a good job of the branch, and contribute to the development of the Democratic League.

Finally, Zheng Yongfei congratulated the establishment of the branch and the election of members, and put forward hopes and requirements for all members of the alliance.
